Adair County Conservation Board is located in beautiful Southwest Iowa. There are 10 different parks, wildlife areas, and historical sites totaling over 1,000 acres! Adair county offers excellent outdoor recreational opportunities including camping, fishing, hunting, wildlife watching, picnicking, boating, kayaking, and historical site viewing. We are just a short hour drive from Des Moines with surrounding outdoor attractions such as Lake Anita and Green Valley State Parks, and Nodaway Lake and Greenfield Lake City Parks.
